A stainless steel flower nail with a flat round head on a ridged spike, used to pipe buttercream and royal icing roses that are then lifted off with scissors and set aside to firm. The large head gives more room for bigger blooms, and it can also be stood in a cake tin to help heat reach the centre of deep cakes. Suits bakery decorators, home bakers and cake-making classes.
