A long, flat wooden stirring paddle — the traditional paththa used for stirring big pots of rice, curry, milk rice, watalappan mixes and sweetmeats. The tapered flat blade reaches to the bottom of deep pots without scratching them, and the plain timber handle stays cool over open flame.
