A moulded plastic milk strainer with a round rim, side lugs to rest on a pot or jug, and a flat handle with a hang hole. It is used for straining fresh milk, kiri, tea and coconut milk into a pan or bucket, catching grit and skin before boiling. Suits home kitchens, small dairies and tea shops; the mesh is not visible in this photo, so check the straining surface before ordering for heavy commercial use.
