A traditional ladle made from a half coconut shell fitted to a plain wooden handle, in the larger size. It is the classic tool for stirring and serving curries, kiribath, sambol and syrups in clay or metal pots without scratching them, and the shell bowl takes heat well. Suits home cooks, caterers and restaurants doing Sri Lankan cooking, and it also works as a rustic serving piece.
