A stainless steel idly (idli) pot with a domed lid, side handles and a removable stacked plate rack for steaming several trays of idly at once. Set the pot on the hob with water below, load the greased plates and steam soft idly in batches — handy for pittu tins and other steaming jobs too. The "24" is a vendor/size reference, most likely a pot of about 24 cm diameter; suits busy home kitchens as well as hotel and restaurant breakfast lines.
