A cast aluminium hopper pan (appa thachchi) with a deep bowl, domed lid and a long riveted handle, supplied with a matching aluminium batter ladle. The shape swirls the batter up the sides so you get the classic lacy edge and soft centre, and the lid traps steam for egg hoppers. This is the large size, suited to home kitchens as well as hotel and restaurant breakfast lines turning out hoppers to order.
