A wide, shallow stainless steel tawa with a laser-etched honeycomb non-stick cooking surface and two riveted side handles for a two-hand lift. The 42cm size (we read sizes in this catalogue as centimetres) gives you room to turn thosai, roti, pittu, egg hoppers, omelettes and stir-fried dishes in volume, and the base is induction safe as well as suited to gas and electric. Built for hotel and restaurant kitchens and busy caterers, though large families and home cooks who do bulk thosai will get good use out of it too.
