A deep cone-shaped aluminium strainer punched with drainage holes and fitted with a small side hanging loop, made for straining milk, kanji, rice water and stock. It sits over a pot or bucket and takes the weight of a full pour without buckling, so it suits dairy collectors, kitchens boiling large volumes and home cooks straining rice.
