A heavy aluminium steamer set with a perforated inner steaming section, a deep water base and a tall domed lid that gives the steam room to circulate. Built for bulk cooking of string hoppers (idiyappam), pittu, idli, buns and vegetables, with side loop handles for lifting when full. The XXL size suits hotel, restaurant and caterer kitchens doing large batches, though large families and function cooks use the same pot at home.
