A cast aluminium hopper pan (appa thachchiya) with a domed lid and two loop side handles, sold as a 2-piece set. The deep round bowl shape steams the centre of the hopper soft while the edges crisp, and the lid traps heat so each one cooks evenly. Suits home kitchens and small hotel or restaurant breakfast lines turning out hoppers to order; also handy for egg hoppers.
