A traditional cast aluminium thachchi — a deep, round-bottomed two-handled pan for frying, tempering and curry cooking over gas or firewood. Sold without a lid, in size 2P, one of the smaller sizes in the range (about 2–3 litres capacity, unconfirmed). Suits home kitchens, small eateries and caterers who want a hard-wearing pan that takes heat and heavy use.
