A thick 18-gauge aluminium cooking pot (catalogue 'saucepan') with a fitted flat lid and two drop-ring side handles for lifting when full. Built for bulk rice, curries, stocks and milk on high-output gas burners, it suits hotel, restaurant and caterer kitchens as well as large homes and almsgiving cooking. Marked 32*16, which we read as about 32 cm across and 16 cm deep; the 40KG in the name is the catalogue batch/capacity reference, not the pot's weight.
