A hand-held wooden string hopper press with a perforated metal plate that squeezes rice dough into fine strands onto your steaming mats. Built with a solid turned timber barrel and two long cross handles so you can press batch after batch of idiyappam without the tool flexing. Suits home kitchens and hotel or caterer breakfast lines alike; plate diameter appears to be about 6 cm, so check before ordering.
