A cast aluminium stovetop kettle with a domed lid, knob handle and a fixed swing bail handle for boiling water and brewing plain tea over gas or a firewood hearth. The "No 8" is a trade size grade rather than a capacity in litres, so check the actual fill before ordering for service. Suits tea kiosks, canteen and hotel back-of-house, caterers on site work, and home kitchens that still boil water the old way.
