Small pittu mould with handle

A small pittu steamer mould with a side handle, made up of a cylindrical tube that sits on a wide base pot so the pittu cooks over the steam. It is the traditional way to steam rice-flour and coconut pittu at home or in a busy kitchen, and the handle makes lifting the hot tube off the base easier. Suits home cooks and small hotels, cafes and caterers putting out pittu for breakfast and dinner; listed in our aluminium ware range, though the polished finish in the photo could read as either aluminium or steel.
